Reminder: I'm capturing everything about your wedding day!

As a wedding photographer I capture your day as is happens & want all of my couples to know the day will happen as it’s meant to be.

Every wedding day is different & I go into each wedding day with the same intentions of capturing the day as it happens & every moment that makes it up. I love being able to tell your story and seeing the emotion from everyone on your day is something that should be remembered! Especially some moments you might miss out on like Your significant other getting ready, your parent’s reactions during your ceremony, your guests & family at cocktail hour, plus there’s so many more moments your photographer can capture on your wedding day. I love being a little fly on the wall witnessing & capturing all the moments as they play out.

Catherine & Jose’s wedding day was full of so much love & anticipation for the day. It made me so happy to be able to see these two have the wedding day of their dreams! They were able to have all of their people altogether for their wedding day & everybody was cheering them on! Being able to truly celebrate your love is something that leaves you with a smile on your face throughout the entire day. Love is so contagious & you can see it through these photos!

I’m currently booking until the end of 2023 for weddings & elopements all over Texas 🤠✨

How soon after you get engaged should you have your engagement shoot?

How soon after you get engaged should you have your engagement shoot?

If you’re thinking about having your engagement photos done then start planning & creating the vibe for your own engagement session! Involve your partner with planning & ask their opinion, then hop on Pinterest & find inspiration! However if you have the perfect idea, then do that! I highly recommend incorporating the things you love into your photos, this just allows your personality shine & that’s what you want your photos to do!

While you’re in the newly engaged era, enjoy it! But don’t feel rush to have your engagement photos done. You might feel rushed if you’re planning for a wedding in a short amount of time, but this is why I suggest doing the things you love into your photos. If the time of year were in isn’t your favorite or what you are hoping for, then opt for doing a studio, in home, or date night session!

Finding your photographer is another important factor, so find someone that you resonate with & might want to consider as a wedding photographer!

I’m currently booking engagement sessions & weddings all over Texas for 2023, so send me an inquiry through my website & let’s get to chatting if you’re interested in booking me!

5 things I wouldn’t do when planning a wedding

Today I want to share with y’all 5 things I don’t recommend doing when it comes to planning your wedding. I’m not coming for anybody, however I want to share my knowledge & the things you should avoid when wedding planning.

  1. Inviting everyone you know to your wedding. To start off strong, please don’t invite everyone you know to your wedding, because this could very easily make your wedding budget go out of the door. Invite the people that truly matter to you & want your marriage to flourish!

  2. Getting wrapped up in the trends. Yes, social media is great & a helpful tool to use for new out of the box ideas! However, incorporate the things you value, love, & that have meaning to y’all as a couple, because that’s the whole point, not because it’s aesthetic or cool for Instagram. Plus, if those details have a meaning behind it, it’ll bring you so much joy!

  3. Rush booking your wedding vendors. Don’t be the person who forgets about the important vendors & then books the first person you talk to. You’ll want to do your deep dives & make sure that who you’re hiring for your wedding day is responsible, attentive, & legit! Sometimes booking newer vendors is amazing because they’ll cut you a deal, however sometimes you get what you pay for & sometimes it can be a coin toss.

  4. Letting others dictate your wedding. Don’t let people feel as though they have control of how your wedding looks & what happens on your wedding day. Last time I checked the whole point of a wedding is to celebrate the two people in love that are choosing to come together as one & then celebrating with the newlyweds into the evening/night with food, drinks, & music.

  5. Don’t try to do everything yourself! There’s a reason why wedding planners & coordinators exist, they are there to help you along the process! Because wedding planning can be super stressful & more times than not this is probably the first time you’re doing all of this! If you only have your wedding photographer booked, then ask for their advice! I’m always here to help out my clients & want y’all to pick my brain!

Wedding planning can be stressful & difficult, which in some cases couples decide to just elope instead! At the end of the day DO WHAT MAKES Y’ALL HAPPY!
