The Austin's Elopement in Big Bend National Park in Terlingua, Texas.

on January 1, 2022 I had the privilege to travel to Big Bend National Park to capture the most beautiful elopement of Mason & Victoria. I met the couple at Big Bend National Park & did a few portraits of the couple before they tied the knot. They decided to have a private ceremony just in front of the Santa Elena Canyon & this was such a special ceremony. The officiant was the absolute cutest & just went about their ceremony is such a chilled way. He sang a song before starting the ceremony to set the tone before they made their commitment to each other. After saying their vows they signed their marriage license at the car, true elopement style, & then we headed back for a few portraits of the couple right in front of the Santa Elena Canyon. After taking a few portraits, we drove back to Mason & Victoria’s Airbnb, which was an absolute dream!! Once we arrived they popped their grape juice & cut their wedding cake. They had their wedding cake ordered by a local in Terlingua & I am still so in love with how she decorated it!

I loved being able to travel out to West Texas & capture this beautiful couple on their elopement! I love when couples runaway with each other & get married, there’s just something about it that I will always admire.

All the colors at Palo Duro Canyon & the nature that surrounds the area is astonishing! There are amazing trails, glamping, horseback riding, and so much more to do here.

  3. Texas Hill Country. Outside of Austin & San Antonio, Texas lies Texas Hill Country & the views make you feel like you’re truly not in Texas anymore. Victoria & Wayne's Engagement Session in League City, Texas.

Fall Sessions are in full swing & this engagement session with Victoria & Wayne reminded me of just that! These two have been engaged for just about a year & will be tying the knot this December! I loved being surprised that the location we went to had a pretty white flower field. I’m such a sucker for a good field too, so I was stoked whenever I saw this!

Fall is my favorite season and especially for photographing all love stories & sessions! Golden Hour is amazing on clear days & even sunrise sessions are so cool before the Texas heat kicks in! We did a sunrise session after having to worry about the weather, Houston weather is so unpredictable which Victoria & Wayne had the privilege of getting to experience, aka the not so fun part of being a photographer sometimes.
